I'm New Here

New Home Baptist Church Guest Information

What are the service times?

On Sunday mornings our Sunday School starts at 9:45 am and our Worship Service begins at 11 am. Our Sunday evening Worship Service starts at 6:00 p.m. and Wednesday evening Prayer Service begin at 6:00 p.m.

How do I get to New Home Baptist Church?

Our Address is 405 E Hampton Springs Ave Perry, FL 32347. We are on the Southeast corner of Center St and Hampton Springs Ave (US HWY 27).

What do I wear?

You may wear whatever you want. There are some people who wear suits and ties, but many go more business casual (slacks and a button shirt), and still, others wear jeans and t-shirts. It’s important to remember that God looks at the soul, not at the outfit..

Where do I park?

Our guest parking is located in between the Worship Center and Family Life Center.  You enter the lot from Hampton Springs Ave. A covered drive-through is available for dropping off passengers behind the sanctuary.

Is there handicap access?

There are handicap parking spaces in the guest parking lot with a ramp that leads to the Worship Center and Family Life Center. There is also handicap parking in the paved lot behind the church.

What happens when I get there?

Our greeters are inside the Worship Center and Family Life Center. They can direct you to a Sunday School class, nursery, or the Sanctuary.

Is childcare available?

We provide a staffed nursery during Sunday School and regular worship services. While you are in a Sunday school class your child will also be in an age-graded class with caring teachers who will help your child learn about God.  During worship, we offer “Children’s Church” for those three years old through 1st grade. All staff and volunteers working with children and youth have submitted to a national background check.

What happens if I arrive late?

Don't worry.  Enter through the front doors and our greeters will help you find a seat as quickly and discreetly as possible.

How are guests greeted?

Before worship, our greeters will warmly welcome you to our church. Guests are NOT singled out or asked to stand and be recognized. However, we are interested in knowing more about you. We invite you to use the connect form on this site to share your contact information, requests, and other feedback.

Am I expected to give money?

While we encourage our members to practice Christian stewardship in supporting the mission and ministry of the church, our guests are not required to give anything.  If you do feel led to give, you can place cash or a check in the offering plates near the exits or give online through this website.

What is the message like?

Our pastor presents weekly messages that are biblical, challenging, and applicable to your family, personal life, and walk with the Lord.

What is the "invitation" time?

At the end of the pastor's message, he will give an invitation to anyone who does not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ to confess Jesus as Lord.  He will also ask those who would like to become part of our church family or to simply pray at the altar to come forward.  We sing a song during this time so that people can come to the front and talk to our pastor or one of our other ministers about their needs.
